Stainless Steel Vessel
Standard pressure vessels are made with carbon steel cones and heads. Stainless steel pressure vessel construction is available for specific applications. Stainless steel provides longevity in harsh chemical environments and provides added protection against the effects of harsh weather. All pressure vessels include stainless steel and aluminum plumbing components.
Remote Control Discharge
Remote control discharge kits are available for the convenience of controlling material flow from a distance. The kit includes ball Valve, mounting Kit, actuator cylinder, quick coupler, air hoses and remote control valve. From the air source, hose is connected into the remote control valve. Two smaller air hoses are connected from the remote control valve to the actuator so that a ball valve can be remotely opened and closed.
Dual Discharge assemblies are available for ANFO loading applications and customers requiring multiple application points, such as two ANFO charging sites on the mining surface. Dual Discharge ends are available with or without actuator assembly, which is part of the Remote Control Discharge kit.
Two-Way Air/Material Valve
Custom “Y-shaped” plumbing assembly, air hose and control valve are an available add-on for the pressure vessel discharge. This Two-Way Air/Material Valve kit allows the operator to control whether the vessel is sending air and material or only air. This option to isolate air flow from the vessel is useful for mining applications, such as blowing out bore holes in the rock surface before charging.
Air Booster Kit
Pressure vessels may be fitted with additional air entry port at the discharge for increasing air flow and production. The Air Booster kit is attached to the back side of the discharge end and includes air hoses connected to the plumbing assembly.
Material delivery hoses are available for ANFO loading / bore hole charging applications. Either anti-static rubber hose or semi-conductive polyethylene tubing are used with the Powder Monkey to place AN-FO into blasting (bore) holes on a mining surface.
Standard Powder-Monkey AN-FO pots include pedestal supports. Other mounts are available on request. Wheel mounting is a popular choice with smaller pressure vessels / ANFO loaders. Both air-filled tires on wheels or steel wheels are available options. Skid mounting is also available on request.
